Three Plantations
Description

Unforgettable Coffee; Unmistakably Gillards of Bath

Indulge in the exquisite Three Plantations Coffee Blend, a meticulously hand-blended masterpiece exclusive to Gillards of Bath. This medium roast symphony marries the finest Arabica beans from three distinct origins: Ethiopian, Sumatra, and Costa Rica.

This harmonious blend is a testament to the art of coffee roasting. The Ethiopian Mocha bean contributes a mild chocolate note with bright acidity, while the Mandheling Sumatra lends a deep, earthy character with hints of spice. We balance the blend with a smooth Costa Rican bean providing a balanced sweetness and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.

The result is a truly exceptional cup of coffee, brimming with complexity and nuance. Each sip reveals a kaleidoscope of flavours, from the delicate floral notes to the rich, earthy undertones, culminating in a smooth and satisfying finish with no bitterness.

This Three Plantations Blend is a testament to Gillards of Bath’s commitment to sourcing the finest coffees and crafting exceptional blends. It is a true celebration of the artistry of coffee roasting and a perfect choice for discerning coffee lovers.

Ingredients

100% Arabica beans.

Process: Washed.
Washed, or wet, processing is all about purity and precision. Instead of drying the coffee cherry whole, the outer fruit is removed within hours of harvest using water and mechanical depulpers. The sticky, sugar-rich layer left on the seed (the mucilage) is then broken down through controlled fermentation before the beans are thoroughly washed clean and dried.

This process yields a beautifully clean, bright, and expressive cup that lets the true terroir—the specific soil, elevation, and climate of the origin—shine through without any fruit distortion.

Shipping and Storage

Shipping: Information on shipping and delivery.

Storage: To maintain the best quality, we recommend storing in an air-tight container. For longer term storage, divide larger quantities and store half in the freezer for later use.

We recommend storing whole beans for no more than 6 months, and ground coffees no more than 3 months to maintain maximum flavour. Never store coffee in the refrigerator, as coffees absorb odour.
