Description

Jasmine Chung Hao Tea is a true masterpiece, a testament to the artistry and dedication of Chinese tea masters. This exquisite green tea, infused with the delicate fragrance of jasmine blossoms, was once reserved exclusively for the Chinese Imperial Court, a testament to its luxurious quality and unparalleled taste.

The creation of Jasmine Chung Hao is a labour of love, requiring meticulous attention to detail. The process begins with the selection of high-quality green tea leaves, often from the renowned Long Jing (Dragon Well) variety. These leaves are carefully chosen for their vibrant green colour, delicate flavour, and tender texture.

The tea leaves are then layered with fragrant jasmine blossoms in large vats. Over several days, the tea absorbs the delicate essence of the blossoms through a series of gentle infusions. This intricate process requires skilled artisans to carefully monitor the tea’s progress, ensuring that the jasmine flavour is perfectly balanced with the underlying green tea notes.
The result is a truly exquisite tea. The dry leaves retain a subtle jasmine aroma, while the brewed tea unfolds with a captivating bouquet of floral and vegetal notes. The flavour is delicate and nuanced, with a lingering sweetness that lingers on the palate.

Beyond its exquisite taste, Jasmine Chung Hao offers a range of potential health benefits. Green tea is renowned for its antioxidant properties, while the addition of jasmine blossoms may enhance its calming and relaxing effects.
