Ethopian Mocha Dark Roast
Description

Indulge in the Velvet Smoothness

Ethiopian Dark Mocha Coffee is a true testament to the rich coffee heritage of Ethiopia, the birthplace of Arabica coffee. Sourced from the high-altitude regions of Ethiopia, these beans are renowned for their complex flavor profiles and distinctive characteristics.

This dark roast amplifies the inherent qualities of Ethiopian coffee, resulting in a robust and full-bodied cup. The dark roast process intensifies the coffee’s natural sweetness, allowing the subtle notes of red wine and dark chocolate to shine through. The wine-like acidity adds a bright and lively dimension, while the chocolate undertones provide a smooth and satisfying finish.

Ethiopian coffee is celebrated for its unique floral and fruity notes. In this dark roast, these characteristics are harmoniously balanced with the bold and robust flavors of the dark roast. The result is a coffee that is both invigorating and comforting, offering a complex and nuanced taste experience.

Whether enjoyed black or with a splash of milk, Ethiopian Dark Mocha Coffee is a luxurious treat for coffee connoisseurs. Its rich history, distinctive flavors, and exceptional quality make it a truly remarkable coffee experience.

Ingredients

100% Arabica beans.

Process: Washed.
Washed, or wet, processing is all about purity and precision. Instead of drying the coffee cherry whole, the outer fruit is removed within hours of harvest using water and mechanical depulpers. The sticky, sugar-rich layer left on the seed (the mucilage) is then broken down through controlled fermentation before the beans are thoroughly washed clean and dried.

This process yields a beautifully clean, bright, and expressive cup that lets the true terroir—the specific soil, elevation, and climate of the origin—shine through without any fruit distortion.

Shipping and Storage

Shipping: Information on shipping and delivery.

Storage: To maintain the best quality, we recommend storing in an air-tight container. For longer term storage, divide larger quantities and store half in the freezer for later use.

We recommend storing whole beans for no more than 6 months, and ground coffees no more than 3 months to maintain maximum flavour. Never store coffee in the refrigerator, as coffees absorb odour.
