Description

Pure bergamot oil meets pine-smoked Lapsang Souchong.

In order to preserve the pure Italian Bergamot oil we recommend storing our Famous Earl Grey in an air-tight container.

Indulge in the bold, complex character of our Smoked Earl, a distinctive new addition to our Bergamot Collection that pays homage to traditional hand-blending techniques.

At the heart of this blend is our Famous Earl Grey—fine China black tea infused with pure Italian bergamot oil, never relying on the synthetic flavourings used by mass-market commercial brands. To this citrus-bright foundation, we carefully hand-blend naturally pine-smoked Lapsang Souchong Formosa, creating an extraordinary harmony of crisp citrus, rich malt, and comforting pine-wood smoke.

While many tea merchants have quietly turned away from genuine Lapsang Souchong in recent years, we proudly uphold the heritage of true smoked teas. The result is a cup of remarkable depth and balance: the dark, resinous warmth of the Formosa leaves wraps around the uplifting bergamot, yielding a brew that is both rugged and deeply refined.

Experience the rich storytelling of Smoked Earl for yourself. Its evocative aroma and smooth, lingering finish offer a warming, sophisticated cup for crisp mornings and slow afternoons. Best enjoyed black to appreciate every nuance of smoke and citrus, or with a splash of milk for a smooth, campfire-like richness.
