Description

A Vibrant Citrus Experience

Kenya Peaberry Coffee offers a truly unique and invigorating coffee experience. Sourced from the fertile highlands of Kenya, these exceptional beans deliver a vibrant and complex flavour profile that is sure to awaken your senses. The unique terroir of Kenya, with its rich volcanic soils and high altitude, contributes to the development of exceptional coffee beans. Kenyan coffees are renowned for their bright acidity, complex flavors, and vibrant character.

Unlike traditional coffee cherries that typically contain two beans, Peaberry cherries contain only a single, perfectly round bean. This rarity is a result of a natural genetic mutation, making Peaberry beans a prized find among coffee connoisseurs.

This single-origin Kenya Peaberry boasts a remarkably bright and complex flavour profile. Expect a burst of citrus notes, reminiscent of lemon and grapefruit, intertwined with delicate floral undertones and hints of sweet berries. The acidity is lively and refreshing, creating a clean and invigorating cup.

Brewed to perfection, this Kenya Peaberry will deliver a truly exceptional cup. Expect a clean, bright aroma, a vibrant golden-brown colour, and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. The lingering aftertaste is a delightful blend of citrus and fruit, leaving a lasting impression.

Ingredients

100% Arabica beans.

Process: Washed.
Washed, or wet, processing is all about purity and precision. Instead of drying the coffee cherry whole, the outer fruit is removed within hours of harvest using water and mechanical depulpers. The sticky, sugar-rich layer left on the seed (the mucilage) is then broken down through controlled fermentation before the beans are thoroughly washed clean and dried.

This process yields a beautifully clean, bright, and expressive cup that lets the true terroir—the specific soil, elevation, and climate of the origin—shine through without any fruit distortion.

Shipping and Storage

Shipping: Information on shipping and delivery.

Storage: To maintain the best quality, we recommend storing in an air-tight container. For longer term storage, divide larger quantities and store half in the freezer for later use.

We recommend storing whole beans for no more than 6 months, and ground coffees no more than 3 months to maintain maximum flavour. Never store coffee in the refrigerator, as coffees absorb odour.
